How To Settle Your Baby To Fall Asleep


We will discuss some techniques and habits to make sleep your baby soon. But these techniques may not appeal to everyone because it involves many things. We all see and mind some babies will respond immediately but others can take up to 3 to 4 weeks to these techniques. Babies learn from repetition as persistence is the key to success.





Try to hold these habits and follow these instructions to make your day good and to fall baby asleep

Consider these points before starting on a settling program, it’s a good idea.
1.       Ensure first your baby is well.
2.       Before starting off, if any concerns you might have should be cleared with your doctor.
3.     Make sure you also feel well. It won't do if you start with a new routine under stress or poor health conditions.
4.      If your baby is not well during the weeks that you are attempting to get the program to work, stop it  and start again when baby is well.
5.   Try to keep a free week so you can devote as much time and effort as possible into making the program work so you can concentrate.
6.       A busy schedule will make it harder and difficult to do the techniques with each sleep and take longer to work.
7.       If you have other caretakers like a nanny/aayaa, make sure they follow the new routine like you.
8.       Ensure that there are no mixed messages being given to your baby by others.
9.       Make sure the cot or bed of your baby sleeps in is well ventilated with no pillows or bumpers.
10.    Remove all the toys from the cot. This space should be designated for sleeping well.
11.    Have a dim night light so when they wake up can see the surroundings.
12.    Make sure your partner/husband is agreeable about your new routine. Explain to them attempting to do so they can appreciate the added pressure you are under.
13.    It may be great beneficiaries of a child that sleeps well.
14.    If not your partner, try and have a support person to take over for you if need be. It’s like a back-up option in case of unforeseen circumstances.
15.    Try to make them happy by doing some activities.
16.    Don’t make afraid them, it will impact on their mind and body also
17.    Try to sleep them in right posture/position.

These are some health oriented things that your baby and you too make happy and healthy.
